HYTAC courses are gradually being integrated into the timetable of the University of Navarra (UNAV) in Pamplona, Spain. I was assigned to teach the technique of 3D printing as an integral part of the design process. To achieve this, the students designed bridges to be represented by both a hand-drawn sketch and a3D-printed model. In this way, it becomes unmistakably clear to the students that handwork is still one of the most important tools for representing and illustrating architectural ideas.
